STORYTELLING SITE

The objective of this project was to translate a printed narrative into a digital environment without losing its intimacy or pacing. The challenge was to preserve the emotional weight of the stories while adapting them to a responsive interface. Rather than allowing interaction to overpower the content, the design needed to maintain clarity, hierarchy, and atmosphere. The goal was to create a digital reading experience that felt immersive yet restrained.

I approached this project through contrast and reduction. A dark interface was used to create focus and eliminate distraction, allowing typography to become the primary expressive element. Generous spacing and controlled hierarchy guide the reader through each story at a deliberate pace. Typography was treated as voice rather than decoration, reinforcing rhythm and structure across screen sizes. Every design decision emphasized restraint, ensuring the interface supported the narrative instead of competing with it.
